MEMBERSHIP OF HAGLEY & STOURBRIDGE BEEKEEPERS' ASSOCIATION
Joining Hagley & Stourbridge Beekeepers' Association gives you access to the benefits of the British Beekeepers Association (BBKA), local branch activities and meetings, and support from other beekeepers in the area.
If you keep bees, it is important to renew your membership before the start of the new beekeeping season so that your Bee Disease Insurance and public liability insurance remain in force.
Which membership is right for you?
Full Membership – £33.00
Full Membership is for people who keep bees. It includes membership of the BBKA, Worcestershire County Association and Hagley & Stourbridge Beekeepers' Association, together with Bee Disease Insurance.
Bee Disease Insurance covers up to three hives against destruction because of disease. Full Membership also includes public liability insurance of up to £10 million. If you keep more than three hives, additional insurance cover can be arranged by paying the appropriate additional premium.
Junior Membership – £12.50
Junior Membership is for beekeepers under 18 years of age. It provides the same main benefits as Full Membership, including Bee Disease Insurance. Additional insurance premiums apply if you keep more than three hives.
Full Associate Membership – £14.00
Associate Membership is for people who do not currently keep bees but would like to be involved with the Association and enjoy the benefits of membership. It includes BBKA and Hagley & Stourbridge Beekeepers' Association membership.
Family Membership – £1.00
A family member can be added to an existing Full or Associate Membership for just £1.00. Family members can take part in our meetings and activities.
