Starting at the Apiary of Virginia Webb in Kinver
A bee safari is an event that starts in one apiary and moves to three or four other apiarys before settling at a member's house for afternoon tea
We start with a glimpse behind the scenes of a large and reasonably successful apiary at Kinver on land owned by Virginia Webb but jointly managed by Justus Klaar and Nick Templar
The hives are 14x10 and the apiary is a queen rearing and production site. Why not come along and see how things are developing this year?
Just after 1pm we will move to another site before ending up at the lucky member's home where we will drink tea and eat all their cake and biscuits!
As always, if the weather in poor this event will be cancelled
DIRECTIONS
Assemble inside the gateway to a wood opposite Greemount in Church Road between St. Peters and Kinver Edge, on the left hand side.
PARKING
In through the gate and swing sharp right. First in moves well up!
